Fredrik Oduya (born May 31, 1975 – 2011 in Stockholm) was a retired ice hockey player. He was drafted 154th overall by the San Jose Sharks in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft.

After the International Hockey League with the Kansas City Blades and the American Hockey League for the Kentucky Thoroughblades, he was traded to the Calgary Flames in 1999 for Eric Landry. He never played in the National Hockey League, though belonging to both San Jose Sharks and later on Calgary Flames organisations. He was known as a good fighter and tough hitter, with the nicknames "Freddy Knuckles" and "The Swedish Nightmare". In 2000 he retired due to a back injury. He played again some years later in Sweden and Great Britain, before retiring again in 2007.
He died in a motor cycle accident in Austria in the summer of 2011.[1] His brother Johnny Oduya, plays for the Winnipeg Jets. Their late father was from Kenya, belonging to the ethnic group of Luo.
